A few weeks back, I wrote about making paper pots to put seedlings into after they reach that stage. Last night I made about 20 of these babies to see how well they’d actually work – so far so good.
The rolling action builds up layers that help hold the pot together and the top rim is flexible enough that you can turn it over so you don’t have odd pieces of paper flapping about (think like you are rolling the cuff of a pant’s leg on this one). It’ll be interesting to see how they hold up over time.
Update: Two weeks later and they still are going strong and the plants are looking good!
